Tulips in bloom at Villa Rosa: Zenson di Piave’s spring charity event
Among the most meaningful moments in Villa Rosa’s life is the Tulip Festival, Festa dei Tulipani, an event that each spring transforms the estate into a place of gathering, colour and sharing, conceived, created and organised by Laura Coletto from its very first edition.
The initiative stems from a personal story and an act of solidarity: an event dedicated to the memory of Michela Coletto, a sister who left us far too soon.
The project first took shape in 2022 with an event dedicated to pumpkins, before becoming, from 2023 onwards, a vast field of tulips that brings colour to the countryside of Zenson di Piave every spring.
Between March and April, the fields fill with thousands of tulips in bloom, creating a remarkable landscape: families, visitors and flower lovers come to stroll among the rows and enjoy an immersive countryside experience, with the chance to pick the flowers themselves and take them home.
The event combines nature with social commitment: proceeds are allocated to research and donated to AIL, the Italian Association against Leukaemia, in support of the Haematology-Oncology Department of Treviso.
Over the years, the Tulip Festival has become an increasingly anticipated occasion for the local area, a moment when the countryside opens itself to the community and invites people to experience nature with simplicity, participation and sharing.
An event that perfectly represents the spirit of Villa Rosa: land, people and solidarity meeting among the colours of spring.
